Wi-Fi Connection

Connecting your Dreem Band to Wi-Fi allows it to communicate with our servers. A regular connection is required for:

  • More precise and personalized analysis of your sleep.
  • Updating your headband’s embedded software.

For optimal use of your Dreem Band, we recommend a daily connection, you can do this by plugging your headband in when you wake up.

Your Dreem Band’s Wi-Fi connection is disabled unless the headband is charging and plugged into a wall socket. You are not exposed to any waves while using the headband.

How to: Set up your Dreem Band’s Wi-Fi

When you first use the application, you’ll be asked to connect your Dreem Band to a Wi-Fi hotspot. This connection is then saved and the headband will automatically connect to this network when your Dreem Band is plugged in and within reach.

If ever you need to connect to a new Wi-Fi hotspot, here’s how you do it:

  1. Go to the app’s ‘DREEM’ section.
  2. Select the Headband icon in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the screen and go to ‘Headband Settings’.
  4. Tap ‘Find a Network’ to set up a new Wi-Fi network.

TIP: If there’s no Wi-Fi available nearby, you can create one with your phone’s 3G or 4G using connection sharing. Once activated you’ll be able to select your phone’s network as a Wi-Fi network.

How to: Check a Wi-Fi connection

You can check your Dreem Band’s Wi-Fi connection at any time:

  1. Go to the ‘DREEM’ section of your app.
  2. Tap on the Band icon in the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select ‘Settings’ at the bottom of the screen and go to ‘Headband Settings’.
  4. Select ‘Diagnosis’.
